We shouldn’t consider that we live in a home, rather we live with a home.

 The energy?  The sound?  Regard the building as having its own spirit.

What can we do for it?

 Look, listen and feel.

Pull back, reveal and simplify.

 Hear rain falling on the ground, wind whistling in the trees.  Notice plants, bird calls and shadows. These are part of the home’s landscape and ours.

 Have a thinking body and hand with placement, movement and appraisal.

 Appreciate the home’s innate style and sensibility.
