My second postcard examines a well known decorating decision, a subtle mirror
where the subconscious plays with the conscious.
I would also like to introduce you to one of your shoulder-sitting friends,
Simplicity, to add conversational wisdom.
The too perfect house, the too perfect garden makes you, your spirit and
your friends uneasy. The pursuit of perfection and efficient organisation
at the expense of conversation and interaction creates only a fleetingly
successful life.
Let life happen instead of constantly marshalling disciplined
and straightening strategies. Shrug and know you are being real.
Laugh inwardly when you acknowledge that a smoothed, tightened daily life
has little allure.
Have a soft-hearted home …Simplicity
