Postcard #91 … celebrating self and place

Have a garden, tiny or large. Within your sight, your reach and in your heart a deliberate and creative process occurs.

A garden’s first impact is colour. Then, its innate harmony and balance.

Shades of foliage and added surface sheen and texture always make for light and shadow contrasts.

Green foliage isn’t just background. Consider it the structural design backbone highlighted and emphasised by one or more colours.

Be determined not haphazard with your garden plan. It’s an opportunity to build atmosphere, even theatre, on a small or large scale.
