Postcard #136 … celebrating self and place

Ego games Part 1

Having everything completed and perfect is an ego game.

One of the biggest ego games we play is controlling our environment by completing tasks.

“Once this is done I can relax and all will be fine.”

By having an efficient and task focused outlook we trick ourselves into feeling supremely effective.

Yet realistic, compassionate relationships are the true test of a life well lived.

Happiness isn’t just a series of jobs to be undertaken and completed.

A perfect, one-sided life balance sheet is certainly flimsy and suspect.
