Postcard #147 … celebrating self and place

This week the place aspect of celebrating self and place.

Part 1, place.

Celebrating place can easily be seen as being happy in a physical landscape, a dwelling, an area, a country.

Wherever, whatever it is, there’s an overwhelming feeling of ‘this is me.’

Even stepping into a room, a friend’s home, a situation, can stimulate feelings of coming home.

We don’t know we’re searching until all our senses respond.  Sounds and words spontaneously announce the recognition: ‘aaah, mmmm, oh yes.”

We’re not straying or idling. It’s us on a plate.

Next week: Place is more than physical landscapes.
