Place, Part 2. Page 1 of my book Home at Last suggests we walk slowly and idly though our homes.
How about we walk slowly and idly through our lives?
Abundant joy and contentment mean we’re celebrating place as well as self.
It comes with appreciation of the fine, the grand, sky colour and cloud shape, dancing light, sounds outside our windows, moon and star shine.
There is a realization of “yes. I understand. I’ve come home. This is me. I understand who I am and what I love.”
And that’s when sauntering, even sashaying become private art forms to especially celebrate a sense of place.
